UPDATE: 20 Feb 2022

Due to a growing number of extenuating circumstances, the IAH committee has decided, in the best interest of this event, to postpone IAH another year, until 1-4 Sep 2023.

Why postpone?

Please understand that this is an unprecedented situation, and the new committee was formed only 3 months ago to take over the event. Although significant progress has been made, we have come to a point where we no longer feel confident that all requirements can be achieved in a 7-month time frame (supply chain requirements are a real thing). COVID is not the primary concern, but it does impact some of our external support as well. We apologize for any inconvenience involving flights and pre/post lubes this may cause.

Benefits of postponement

This gives the new committee almost the normal time that is required to plan and organize a major hash event (in a foreign country which only a few of the committee live in). The date change also gets IAH back on the odd year cycle opposite INTERHASH. As an aside, we understand that many hashers cannot afford, nor have sufficient vacation time to attend both an INTERHASH and InterAmericas’ Hash in the same year.

Now what?

In keeping with this effort, we are now suspending all refund requests until further notice in 2023. This gives ALL registered hashers an equal opportunity to decide on attendance during the new date in 2023. Any hashers who received a refund earlier this month, can reinstate their early-bird registrations at their original cost, if paid by March 6th, 2022. Otherwise, registrations remain open to all interested hashers for $399 from this date forward. Simply reply to the previous email address you requested your refund under.

*If you emailed a request and did not receive a refund, we will address further registration refunds and/or transfers in 2023*

Announcements and updates will continue to be posted here on the official event website.
